Lulu is not a good swimmer.


Last year, she almost drowned during the Pooch Pool Party. (as you can see, she is trying to get help from Piggy)


Mommy decided to buy a life jacket for Lulu so she can swim easily for this coming pool party in 2 weeks! YAY!

There's a sudden tornado warning on Thursday.

Mommy never seen such a weird DAY,

such as very very dark and heavy clouds,

thunders and strong winds!

To be safer,

Mommy, Uncle KC and Aunties all decided move to tornado shelter.

This is our first time at tornado shelter.

Uncle KC trying to calm Champ because

Lulu does not seem comfortable at all.

Couple days ago,

Lulu start coughing and it sound like chocking too

(for sure it's not reverse sneezing)

Mommy did several survey online but didn't get any answer

This morning Lulu was send to nearest Vet.

They found out she got inflammation trachea

which they also called Kennel Cough

Now she taking medication hopefully she will getting better

Piggy never has his own bed because he sleeps with Mommy.
Few weeks ago, Mommy got him one
so he can sleep in the comfy bed while waiting for Mommy when she's online.
But he always refuses to get in!

Mommy stayed up very late while Piggy is still waiting for her
(first, he's lying on the carpet as usual)

suddenly, Piggy starts sniffing on his bed
and jumps into the bed and sleep!

After the horrific Earthquake and Tsunami hit Japan

many people were injured and many lost their lives too...

not only human, but many dogs and cats also became the victims of these disasters!

More than thousand pets are missing too!

and Mommy spread some Peanut Butter on top of it

This year, I got many presents from everybody

We hate allergy

My poor big brother, Champ, just got allergy
(maybe it's caused by the weather)
His eyes area is swollen and got redness on eyes balls

At first, he kept blinking and scratching.
After a while, he just closed his eyes all the time
so Mommy & Daddy made some research and found that
this happen to other dogs as well

Many recommended that Benadryl will helps
Champ took 3 capsules (total 150mg for over 50 pounds )
He took a really long nap and had a good sleep on the following night
So far his eyes are starting to get better,
the redness has been gone!
Hurray!

And for me,
I have anal problem.
I love to sit on the floor and spin around
(it's like i'm scratching my anal)

Sorry for so gross picture
but this is bothering Mommy...
(i did at least 3 times anal sec in a year)
i often have this FUNNY smell or liquid from anal
Vet recommends Banadryl and hopefully
this can help me to get better

Mommy believed that someone complained about me on a night last weekend
when mommy off leashed for me to go outside pee 'n poo
(while lazy mommy was inside the house stay warm.. shame on her)
After a while, Mommy heard me barking at someone so she
quickly ran outside but still she couldn't see who I was barking at.

Mommy feels so sorry for our neighbor
and hopefully I can change my attitude too at the same time

p/s: i have a very big issue for my attitude.
i always lose control when i meet somebody that i have never seen before
And i will bark and jump on that person/dog ...
Any ideas for how to change my bad habit ?

I'm back!

It's been a while since I update Piggy's blog

Mommy and Uncle KC just came back from New York for taekwondo tournament

and the trip is fun and tiring too

Woofstock was held on Saturday.

It's a lot more fun this year because Champ, Lulu, Casey and Snowy went with me!

There are more people attend Woofstock this year.

(18000 people were estimated to go for this event)

And also there are more games, such as,

Owner Look Alike, Best Dresses, Best Costumes, etc.

Owners and their buddies are ready to go on stage for the best dresses contest

Luckily Mommy didn't forget to bring own cup for me

because I don't like to share drink with the others!

Meanwhile, a pug next to us is drinking can soda!

I did so much better for the racing compared to last year!

This is the first time Snowy take part of the racing,

she and her mommy are having fun too!

There are many Pugs and pugs lovers that came to play with Lulu!

We only met 1 puggle this year though :(

Ahhha! That's Pooch Pool Party which I missed last year!

Lulu: HELP!!!

We believed this is the first time Lulu gets to swim because she almost gets drowned.

She learned how to swim very quickly!

That's a Puggle! And he swims very professionally!

Mommy don't leave me!

Wherever Mommy's going, I'm always following her

Uncle KC said that I have separate anxiety!

She is Snowy,Beagle. A cutiepie~

It's her first time at the pool but she can already swim very good!

Oh yea, that's Champ who's born to be a swimmer!

Mommy made a BIG BIG mistake!!

Today, Mommy sit down on the kitchen's floor preparing lunch for us.

She's trying to cut the chicken into small pieces using the scissor,

SUDDENLY Lulu licked the scissor while Mommy's cutting!!

(Mommy did not realize Lulu's by her side, she is day dreaming!!)

and very quickly Lulu's mouth is full of bloods!!

Mommy quickly send her to the nearest vet.

While on the way to the Vet,

Lulu keeps bleeding non stop and blood already cover her face.

When we reach the clinic,

very quickly vet and nurse do the emergency first aid for her.

Luckily her wound was not too bad,

just have to seal her cut wound.

Lulu discharged after 3 hours and she is very sleepy after the surgery.

Luckily she still have appetite for her dinner but her wound's still bleeding a little bit.

Now mommy learned a new lesson,

NEVER use danger objects around us!

Hurray!

Finally I got my supermodel body curve back!

(Hmm .. actually still not that curve but at least everyone can tell that I'm getting slim)

My waist measurement drop from 30 inches to 26 inches

Since Mommy got her holiday for few weeks,

sometimes I go for jog twice a day!

Mommy found out that I'm getting tired of the weight control foods,

so everyday she will mix some foods,

(for example, steam chicken, hard boiled eggs, steamed veg..)

which is also good for build up the protein inside my body

And I also started playing toys (which belong to lulu)

Mommy believed that exercise help me look more energize and youth!

This Saturday (8/21)

Rock Rapid Pool will have POOCH Pool Party

at 2pm to 430pm

Yeah! We are heading to Cheney (50 minutes from Wichita)

for Sedgwick County Fair

Champ wasn't able to go because he will go out of control in crowd of people.

We are so excited for our road trip!

and Lulu stay still until we reach the destination

During the second day at Uncle KC's home, I did something bad...

I made a mess at Uncle KC's kitchen

I'm too eager for HUMAN food (which is what I'm having almost everyday)

and try to find some TREASURE at the trash can

Mommy was so disappointed at me

and while she's cleaning the kitchen....

Uncle KC lock me in and :" &^^*#$%#$&" to me...

Uncle KC :

At beginning, Piggy was not cooperate during jogging, he tried to push n jump on me.

Since yesterday, he knows that he have to do it (jog) and he's doing it pretty good.

Now he's quite comfortable at my home.. not whispering that much when Mommy's gone.

Lulu is having fun with Mommy,

she is so adorable!

She loves people to hold and hug her

Yes I am..

Because I am moving out and stay with uncle KC

(Good thing is his apartment is just a few blocks from ours and I still can meet Mommy everyday)

Uncle KC and Mommy make a diet programme for me

Every morning I have to jog for 20 minutes

Same for evening, but only 3 time a week

Mommy just bought me weight control foods from Petsmart

(thanks Preston and Mommy Susan for the suggestion, apprieciated ^^)

When Uncle KC walk me to his apartment,

I was trying to pull the leash and not willing to follow him

(this brokes Mommy's heart :"( )

Uncle KC took picture of me waiting for Mommy pick me up

Uncle KC : Once Piggy reached he's just standing at the front door.

He keeps whispering and crying and after a while he went to my bed and sleep.

Hopefully Piggy can lose his weight and stay healthy!

I've put SOME (or more?) weight in these years

From 33 (3 years ago) pounds till 45 pounds (which is scaled 6 months ago)

Every summer Mommy will let me have a Fitness Programme

For example, Jogging, Swimming, cut down my meals..

but it doesn't really work on me

(Mommy suspect Grandma feeding me when she not around)

She swear this summer she's gonna make my jelly tummy gone

I HATE YOU TICKS!

Mommy found a tick that's biting on the back of my neck

Quickly, she used the tweezer to pull IT out

IT is so small and tough, Mommy took 1-2 minutes to pull it out

(Mommy spend around 5 minutes to pull the tick out on Lulu because IT start sucking the blood on her ear)

She clean and put some antibiotic cream on my wound (OUCH)

A week later, the wound doesn't get any better

and the hair around the wound are cut so it can be clean better

Mommy would suggest always get a First Aid box

(sold at walmart, Petsmart, Petco)

From now on, we have to shampoo our feet every time we come home from outside.

and everybody, watch out for the TICKS 'N FLEA

wow! It's a nice and warm weather during Easter weekend.

Mommy brought us to the playground.

My favorite is Slide! It is really fun, but Lulu and Champ doesn't like it.

Mommy brought me new collar from www.themoddog.com

(Chain martingale collar)

This is a great alternative for me because I'm a strong pullers.

and also perfect for who have been trained with a choke chain,

(which i hate the most)

Mommy also bought one for Lulu (Lil' Red)

coz she is strong puller too! and the collar always slip off from her neck!

Is she look as fashion as me?

Champ didn't get one yet because he still training with his new chock chain.

Yappy Day 2009

Yappy Day is celebration of dogs and the people that loves them.

This event is hosted at Pavilion II at the Kansas Coliseum.

I went with Mommy & KC last year.

Mommy dressed me up so I can take the Best Dress Contest!

But I don't have much clothes.. (because i don't like wearing it)

you can tell from my face :(

I meet so many friends and everyone looks excited but i was a little bit nervous.

They are so fashionable! (better than me...)

A lot of contests were held, for example, wettest kiss, largest dogs, cutest dog,

dog owner look alike, stupid pet trick, smallest dog, ugly dogs, bark off and also best dress.

I took two contest, Best Dress and Stupid pet trick.

During the stupid pet trick,

I didn't listen to Mommy's command and just sniffing around.

After that, Mommy have a little talk with me.. (sigh.. :\ )

I got some free sample of foods and toys too~

KC won the games and got me GREENIES !

Ruff Rufffffff

Can't believe another new member join in!

Champ! the Golden Retriever

we already know each other from long time ago

Grandma adopted him from a friend who cannot take care of him anymore

I can't believe we have to stay together forever... sigh

This fellow is 5 years old, BUT he still act like a kid!

He is hyperactive, naughty, annoying... and disturbing me all the times.

And he make me stayed at KC there for a week right on the day he move in

because mommy worried that we're gonna have big fight and try to calm me down.

Things never gone right since he move in,
we have to share the places like living room, under the table, sofa..
and FOODS!

the things i hate the most is he keep smiling all the times, which got everyone's attention!
Grandma is now angry at me (coz I keep fighting and barking at him all the times)

To get their attention, I started to play my toys (didn't play since 2 years ago)

because Champ played my toys!

And I also retrieve the balls (coz he did that too!)

Mommy is getting surprise that I did so much things that she never seen before!
I guess this is how I can win my mommy back.

Recently I've tried to ignore Champ.. I better just go to sleep..

Now I'm starting to get along with Champ but I still fight with him sometimes!

Sister Lulu

Mommy said that I always look lonely, alone and has no buddy to play with.

And she decided to find me a buddy so i won't get bored.

(Grandma and KC disagreed because they think I'm already used to be alone)

do i need a buddy?

Anyway, on New year 2010 mommy gave me a surprise!

She introduced me my new little sister, LULU the pug.
Lulu was adopted from Kansas Humane Society.

she was abandoned by her previous owner.

she is so tiny, has wrinkle on her face, curl tail, black mussel and just like me!

(except for the size)

At first, Lulu kept growling at me (a warning for me to back off)
then I just backed off to break out the fight.

After a while, me and Lulu started to sniff each other and circle each other!

That means we've become good friends!

Ruff! Ruff!

SLEEP is what I usually do for my leisure time,

nothing is more important than that

(i guess thats why mommy call me piggy...)

And I sleep anywhere~ as long as it is comfortable for me

Mommy's bed is my most favorite place

(especially with blanket!)

BUT grandma doesn't like me to sleep on the bed,

so i told her :"RUFF RUFF RUFF" (i don't care)
